<- About Deadweb: Albums ->

The albums section is complete with the exception of setlist and song links. I plan to add these once the setlist and song pages have been completed. The album list is intended to include every official Grateful Dead album that has been released on CD with a few exceptions and additions. I have excluded Greatest Hits compilations that do not contain any previously unreleased material. For example, The Arista Years (1996), The Very Best Of The Grateful Dead (2003), and The Best Of The Grateful Dead (2015) do not contain any previously unreleased material and are not listed anywhere on this website. Skeletons From The Closet and What A Long Strange Trip It's Been have been included because they did contain unreleased CD tracks at their time of release. SFTC features an edited version of the Live/Dead Turn On Your Lovelight, and WALSTIB features the single versions of Dark Star and Born Cross-Eyed. Compilation albums derived from box sets are also excluded. For example, Fillmore West 1969 (2005), Europe '72 Volume Two (2011), Spring 1990: So Glad You Made It (2012), Wake Up To Find Out (2014), and 30 Trips Around The Sun: The Definitive Live Story: 1965-1995 (2015). The individually released Europe '72 shows are not present either. I have also excluded albums that contain Grateful Dead tracks but are not actual Grateful Dead albums. For example, Weir Here: The Best Of Bob Weir (2004) and Garcia Plays Dylan (2005) contain Grateful Dead tracks but are not actual Grateful Dead albums. If you're looking for a more detailed discography of every GD track ever released, I highly recommend checking out the Grateful Dead Family Discography and the discography pages on the Grateful Dead Lyric And Song Finder.

I have included the Grateful Dead Download Series and the two Road Trips downloads.
In 2012, the Grateful Dead began releasing vault material on vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day. There have been four of these releases thus far, two of which were also released on CD:

Winterland May 30th 1971 - Vinyl Only
Family Dog At The Great Highway, San Francisco, CA 4/18/70 - CD/Vinyl
Live At Hampton Coliseum - Vinyl Only
Houston, Texas 11-18-1972 - CD/Vinyl

I have included all of these albums in the Vault Releases section. FLAC rips of the two vinyl-only releases are available online for those of us that wanted to add these albums to our CD/digital collections, and that is where my track timings come from.
